Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager with Vaccines expertise at the Associate Director or Director level to join our team as a consultant. This role will be for 10-20 hours per week for 3-6 months.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experienced project manager with a Ph.D. or Master's degree.
- 8+ years of experience in research and drug development.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical drug development process across multiple phases of research and development with timeline, management, and budgetary responsibility.
- Background in vaccine development required with Flu vaccine experience a plus.
- Highly adaptable, strong leadership skills and experience working in multi-company collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project management support for PM portfolio projects, including integrating into the team, assuring progress toward plans, cross-functional communication, and identification of risks and mitigation strategies.
- Support a project team from inception to approval of the project plan and budget. Key activities include:
- Form and coordinate a cross-company collaborative working team.
- Identify key activities from the beginning of the project through DC/IND milestones.
- Define key project decision points, team, and company roles and responsibilities.
- Build a budget to support the plan and seek approval from senior management.
- Ensure communication both with leadership and across program partners and consultants.
- Ensure the project plan is up to date in Smartsheet and communicate the project plan to leadership monthly.
- Support could be for 1 or more PM portfolio projects.
